About this role
The Behavioral Health Specialist I provides direct care and safety for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. The role supports the therapeutic milieu by contributing to day-to-day schedule formulation and implementing, observing, and documenting patient interactions under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager/Unit Charge RN and participates in unit-based programs and family support activities.
