Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician supports the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the registered nurse by ensuring scheduled programs are delivered, supervising patients, maintaining safety, and treating patients and guests with dignity. This role involves observing and maintaining a safe environment, performing delegated tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting care, and promoting a positive therapeutic milieu. The position requires critical thinking skills, the ability to work in a stressful environment, and preferred experience in psychiatric healthcare settings.
