Behavioral Intervention Specialist

The Behavioral Intervention Specialist works with the Center for Youth to partner with local school districts, providing academic instruction and socio-emotional support to students who commit infractions. The role focuses on creating a youth, family, and faculty-friendly presence to intervene in crises, deescalate situations, and help students return to the classroom quickly. This position aims to reduce repeat offenses through cooperative relationships and direct communication.
