Behavioral Specialist

Behavioral Specialists in a Day Treatment setting are responsible for ongoing monitoring of and interaction with consumers, providing daily assessments of consumers’ behavior, and assisting with personal care. The role involves providing training on basic living skills, modeling appropriate behavior, and collaborating with the treatment team to support children and adolescents in the community. The position requires recognizing crisis states, applying de-escalation techniques, and maintaining detailed documentation per policy.
