Behavioural Support Specialist_FT-Contract

The Behavioural Support Specialist provides direct care, education, and support to seniors experiencing responsive behaviours associated with dementia, mental illness, or other neurological conditions. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, developing tailored Behavioural Support Plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to mitigate escalating behaviours and improve client quality of life. The specialist also serves as a liaison and advocate, providing crisis intervention and training to families, caregivers, and staff.
