Bilingual Community Liaison

The Bilingual Community Liaison role provides as-needed services for English Language Learners and Spanish-speaking families to strengthen the relationship between home, school, and language minority communities. The position involves assisting new students and families with adjusting to U.S. schools, cultures, and lifestyles, while facilitating bilingual parent groups and in-home visits. The role also includes providing translation services for school-related matters and the Special Education Department, and serving as a cultural resource for the district.
