Billing and Collections Specialist

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely billing and collection of assigned accounts using computerized patient accounting systems. The role requires staying current with workers compensation billing rules, OSHA regulations, and contractual agreements with payers while communicating identified issues to the leadership team. Additionally, the specialist works with and trains physicians on accurate coding of work compensation charges.
