Billing Technician

The Billing Technician is responsible for preparing, submitting, and reviewing third-party healthcare claims to ensure accurate reimbursement for services provided by the Health Center. This role involves reviewing electronic health records, following payer requirements, and assisting with claim denials and rejections while maintaining accurate billing records. The position requires protecting confidential patient information and communicating with insurance companies and providers to resolve billing issues.
