Bioinformatics Engineer

The Bioinformatics Engineer will join Arc Institute's Bioinformatics team within the Computational Technology Center to support the Virtual Cell Initiative, building machine learning models that predict cellular states and responses to perturbations. The role contributes to developing and maintaining computational infrastructure and production pipelines for large-scale sequencing datasets and works closely with experimentalists to deliver actionable results that advance research on complex human diseases. This position emphasizes rigorous software engineering practices, data-driven analysis, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
