The Biological Scientist III serves as a laboratory professional within the Molecular Biology Section of the Bronson Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, performing molecular analytical tests on various clinical and environmental samples. The role involves processing samples, conducting tests such as PCR and qPCR, managing data entry in the Laboratory Information Management System, and ensuring compliance with stringent biosafety and quality assurance protocols. This position requires close collaboration with the Section Head and other team members to maintain workflow efficiency and deliver accurate diagnostic reports.
