Bloodworks Northwest is a nonprofit community blood center serving the Pacific Northwest that collects, tests, processes, and supplies blood and blood products to hospitals and medical centers. It operates donor centers and transfusion medicine services, plus clinical laboratory testing and support for hospital blood management. In addition to its core blood services, the organization runs research and innovation programs focused on transfusion safety, immunology, and new diagnostics and therapies, and provides community education and outreach.
