SeedChange
SeedChange is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Board Directors, focusing on candidates from Mesoamerica/South America with agroecology and seed sovereignty experience, and one candidate with investment and asset management expertise. The role requires a strong commitment to the organization’s mission of food sovereignty and active participation in board activities.
SeedChange (formerly USC Canada) is a nonprofit that works with farmers to protect and strengthen farmer-led seed systems, conserve crop biodiversity, and promote climate-resilient, agroecological farming. They partner with smallholder farmers and communities to conserve and exchange locally adapted seeds, provide training and technical support, and advocate for food sovereignty and sustainable agriculture policies. Guided by the motto “Better lives for farmers. Better food for all. Hope for our planet,” SeedChange combines on-the-ground programs, research, and policy engagement to build resilient, equitable food systems.
