About this role

The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting a variety of boilers and associated equipment on a 4th shift rotation at the Windsor Locks, CT facility. The operator will also handle water sampling, fuel delivery supervision, and emergency response while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, modify, repair and inspect boilers and associated equipment
Operate and adjust equipment to provide maximum efficiency
Take water samples, analyze results and implement corrective actions
Supervise fuel oil delivery and ensure compliance with SPCC and SWPP requirements
Respond to emergencies such as boiler failures and control malfunctions
