Responsibilities

• Supervise all deck hands and ensure vessel maintenance and cleanliness.
• Coordinate daily with the Staff Captain on departmental procedures and upkeep.
• Assign and oversee repair duties while ensuring safe and efficient labor use.
• Train deck department personnel on safe working practices and operational standards.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and submit requisitions for department stores.
