Braille Transcriber II

The Braille Transcriber II supports the instructional program by transcribing educational materials into alternative formats like Braille and large print for students with visual impairments. This fully benefited position involves maintaining resource inventories, operating specialized equipment, and providing training and technical guidance to staff. The role reports to the Special Education Director and requires a valid Braille transcription certificate.
