About this role

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Machinist to set up equipment, machine components to meet specifications, and perform in-process inspections using blueprints and technical documents. This onsite role involves reading engineering process sheets, maintaining machinery, moving materials to ensure workflow, and adhering to strict Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Candidates will work the 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday) and manage daily production tasks within an advanced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Set up equipment using routings and blueprints to meet specifications
Machine components and inspect parts for blueprint compliance
Read and follow standard operating procedures and engineering sheets
Maintain machines, tools, and work areas to ensure safe operations
Order gages and coordinate with inspection for first-piece approval

Skills

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year CNC experienceMachining certificate or degree
