Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

The Breastfeeding Peer Counselor provides in-person and remote basic breastfeeding information and encouragement to WIC pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. This role involves counseling participants at WIC clinics, conducting phone follow-ups, and facilitating support groups to help establish and maintain successful breastfeeding experiences. The position requires maintaining accurate records and adhering to USDA and state program guidelines.
