Budget Analyst

The Budget Analyst performs analytical work involving the collection and evaluation of agency financial data, budgetary control records, and information concerning expenditures and revenues to determine budget requirements and develop budget work programs. The role includes analyzing financial information, reviewing revenue projections, and making recommendations concerning changes in program goals, workloads, and funds distribution. This position assists senior staff in preparing annual budget requests, budget work programs, and legislative reports while performing complex reviews of revenue and expenditures.
