Budget Analyst

The Budget Analyst serves as a technical expert to the Budget Committee and Health Care Budget Subcommittee, providing research, analysis, and support on state budgeting, Medicaid finance, and related legislative matters. The role involves preparing budget proposals, revenue and expenditure data, staff analyses, and substantive legislation while responding to inquiries from legislators and the public. This position requires close collaboration with the staff director and committee members to ensure legislative intent is met and effective programmatic cost estimates are developed.
