Building Code Inspector

This role involves inspecting construction work in progress for old and new buildings to enforce state and local building codes across building, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical trade areas. The position requires daily field checks to assess workmanship quality, materials, and safety precautions while interpreting and applying code regulations. Inspectors also manage route schedules, advise contractors, process permits, and enforce zoning and housing codes.
