Building Division Assistant

This role provides administrative and operational support to the Building Official, assisting in the implementation of regulatory requirements for permitting, plan review, and code enforcement. The position involves supervising subordinate inspectors, maintaining inspection records, and ensuring compliance with the Florida Building Code and Broward County ordinances. The incumbent also supports the Building Safety Inspection Program and coordinates division policies and operations.
