Building Inspector

This position secures and maintains compliance with building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and energy conservation codes through intermediate- to complex-level inspections, plan review, and licensing. The incumbent interprets code requirements, resolves citizen complaints, and enforces ordinances by conducting field inspections and issuing violation notices. The role involves providing technical guidance to the public and contractors while ensuring adherence to approved plans and specifications.
