About this role

This role ensures public safety by examining plans and specifications and conducting building and property inspections in accordance with the Building Code Act and Ontario Building Code. The position involves enforcing regulations, issuing permits, investigating violations, and providing technical reports to support the strategic goals of Loyalist Township. The Building Inspector works under the direction of the Chief Building Official to maintain compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications
