Building Official

The Building Official plans, organizes, and directs the daily operations of the Building Division, including plan check, field inspection, permit issuance, and building code enforcement. This role serves as the designated authority for enforcing federal, state, and local building codes and standards while providing complex staff assistance to the Community and Economic Development Director. The position involves overseeing division goals, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with adopted building codes and regulations.
