Bus Operator

This position operates a public transit passenger bus in accordance with District schedules and other related programs, ensuring safe and timely transport of passengers while providing a high level of customer service. The role involves maintaining a safe and orderly environment, complying with DMV and District regulations, and assisting passengers with boarding, de-boarding, and fare payment. The Bus Operator is responsible for vehicle inspections, reporting incidents, and working flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
