About this role

Caterpillar is seeking a Business Analyst to join the MineStar Office team, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams. The role involves translating complex operational needs into clear, testable requirements for fleet management, equipment monitoring, and geospatial visualization capabilities within a large-scale Agile environment. You will facilitate workshops, define user stories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivered software meets functional and non-functional requirements.

Elicit and document business and functional requirements from mining operations stakeholders
Translate business needs into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria
Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with cross-functional Agile teams
Collaborate with engineers to validate implemented features against stated requirements
Maintain traceability between business requirements, user stories, and test cases
