The Business Development Manager for CIC Institute and Japan Desk is responsible for driving new programs and strategic partnerships that connect Japanese and American innovation ecosystems. Based in Tokyo, this role serves as a bridge between Japan-based partners and Cambridge-based teams, helping Japanese startups and companies access US market opportunities and CIC’s global network. The position sits within CIC Institute and the Japan Desk, both focused on startup support and ecosystem development. It requires frequent collaboration with government entities, corporations, universities, and innovation stakeholders in Japan and Boston.
