The Business Manager oversees financial and administrative operations for faculty research portfolios, managing pre- and post-award processes across state, foundation, and other accounts. The role supports proposal budgeting, account reconciliations, financial reporting and forecasts, and ensures compliance with sponsor and University policies. The position serves as a liaison between investigators, central offices, and external funding agencies to facilitate accurate financial management of sponsored research.
