About this role

The Business Manager serves as an operational leader for Surgical Services across two hospital campuses, overseeing a team of nine professionals. The role is responsible for budgeting, financial monitoring, reporting, charge capture, cost containment, and quality assurance for the operating rooms and surgical departments, while also supervising non‑nursing staff and coordinating capital purchases and supply chain activities.

Responsibilities

Prepare O.R. and Surgical Services budget with input from clinical leaders
Manage billing and materials staff including hiring, scheduling, and evaluations
Coordinate cost‑containment measures and supply chain requests for O.R. supplies
Oversee preventive maintenance and quality‑control programs for equipment and environment
Provide financial and operational reporting, including KPI tracking and variance analysis
