Buyer, Purchasing Division

The Buyer, Purchasing Division is responsible for conducting all phases of public procurement processes for city and county agencies, including reviewing requisitions, processing contracts, and preparing statutory bids and quotes. The role serves as a liaison to agencies, divisions, and vendors to resolve procurement issues while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and state laws. The position reports to the Manager Procurement and requires independent judgment to make decisions in the absence of specific policies.
