Buyer

The Buyer role supports global purchasing activities for Aftermarket Parts & Service, focusing on sourcing events to evaluate price, availability, lead time, and quality to achieve a competitive advantage. The position involves awarding business to suppliers based on financial and technical criteria, maintaining supplier records in SAP, and resolving invoice discrepancies. Additionally, the Buyer provides supplier performance feedback, partners with suppliers to resolve issues, and supports material planners to ensure on-time delivery. The role may also involve supporting New Product Development projects globally, managing supplier engagement at early project stages, and driving decision execution toward product introduction.
