About this role

The C-BRAIN Data Engineer is a key technical role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers C-BRAIN's AI tools and research platforms. This position focuses on data ingestion, pipeline development, harmonization, and cloud infrastructure management to ensure high-quality, analysis-ready data is available for AI-driven biomedical research. The role involves close collaboration with the CTO, product managers, and external data science partners to support the development of an AI Biomedical Research Scientist platform.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines for multi-modal biomedical datasets
Manage cloud data infrastructure, storage, and access controls aligned with DUA requirements
Develop data harmonization procedures and quality validation checks for research datasets
