About this role

Leidos is seeking a Cable Manufacturing Process Writer to create standardized assembly work instructions and process plans for complex cable and printed circuit board assemblies. This role involves collaborating with engineering and quality teams to implement engineering changes, support new product introductions, and ensure material traceability within a Manufacturing Execution System. The position is based at the Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

Prepare robust assembly work instructions for technicians using MES systems
Support implementation of engineering change notices and process variations
Review bills of materials and assembly drawings to meet customer requirements
Develop standardized process plans and capture accurate engineering standards
Collaborate with quality teams to ensure material traceability and tool management
