About this role

The CAD Silicon Support Engineer will develop and maintain critical Electronic Design Automation (EDA) environments, toolchains, and methodologies to accelerate silicon development and maximize engineering productivity. This role involves configuring EDA tools, supporting Linux operating systems, and assisting circuit and layout designers through the design flow to tape-out. The position requires bridging the gap between EDA vendor tools and custom silicon architectures to ensure optimal tool uptime and data management.

Responsibilities

Develop process development kit elements including DRC and LVS rule decks
Setup and configure EDA tools and support Linux operating systems
Support circuit designers and debug design tasks using physical verification tools
