WUSC
This role supports the implementation of an advocacy and innovation initiative aimed at enhancing market participation, learning opportunities, and safe, inclusive environments for young women in Ghana. The project collaborates with local organizations to challenge harmful gender norms and promote women's participation in non-traditional trades and high-growth sectors.
WUSC (World University Service of Canada) is a Canadian nonprofit that delivers education and economic solutions to help young people — including refugees — thrive and belong. Working globally with governments, universities, communities and the private sector, WUSC runs programs in skills training, youth employment, scholarships and refugee sponsorship/resettlement. It also advances inclusive policies and youth leadership to link learners to jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities. WUSC raises funds and partners with donors and organizations to scale impact and support vulnerable young people worldwide.
