Call Taker

The Call Taker receives and evaluates requests for emergency and non-emergency services, accurately entering fire, EMS, and local government calls into the Computer-Aided Dispatch system. This role involves screening incoming calls to determine urgency, applying protocol questioning, and providing pre-arrival instructions to ensure timely public safety responses. The position requires working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
