About this role

The Camera Engineer will own the full imaging stack for autonomous drones, designing custom opto-electronic architectures and ruggedized hardware to enable high-precision AI perception in contested environments. The role translates mission requirements into production-ready sensor systems, from lens and sensor selection to FPGA logic and hardware synchronization, and supports manufacturing, lab bring-up, and integration with software stacks. This position contributes directly to Helsing’s defence-focused perception capabilities and operational mission goals.
