PETA Foundation
The Campaign Strategist role at PETA focuses on identifying and advancing issues related to companion animals through strategic media outreach and public awareness campaigns. The position involves developing creative strategies, monitoring emerging trends, and coordinating initiatives to address underrepresented animal welfare concerns. This role requires independent judgment and collaboration with internal teams to drive measurable change and remove animals from exploitative systems.
The Foundation to Support Animal Protection (FSAP), also known as the PETA Foundation, is a nonprofit established in 1993 to provide administrative, legal, accounting, creative, and technology support services to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and certain other charitable animal‑protection organizations. FSAP manages back‑office functions such as employee benefits, database management, accounting, legal services, and creative consultation so advocacy groups can focus on campaigns and outreach. PETA, the organization FSAP supports, is the world’s largest animal‑rights organization with more than 10.4 million members and supporters and campaigns against speciesism across areas including laboratories, the food industry, clothing, and entertainment through investigations, public education, rescues, legislation, and public events.
