Candler I

The Candler I is responsible for ensuring only high-quality eggs are processed on the production line by monitoring and removing poor quality eggs, including those with eggshells, rotten eggs, dirty eggs, and bloody eggs, as well as any foreign materials or inedible products. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating egg quality and speed while ensuring processed eggs meet or exceed USDA requirements. The position involves identifying and removing foreign materials, placing dirty eggs for re-washing, and notifying supervisors of excessive broken eggs or machine deficiencies. The role also requires compliance with USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, and various safety and biosecurity protocols.
