Cardiac Surgical Technologist

A Cardiac Surgical Technologist functions in the scrub role within the operating room, monitoring and maintaining aseptic techniques, equipment, supplies, and instruments for cardio-vascular procedures. The candidate is responsible for preparing sterile fields, selecting specialized equipment, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team during adult or pediatric open heart surgeries. This role may also involve rotating to other area services when cardiac procedures are not scheduled.
