The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist coordinates the technical and patient care components of cardiac and peripheral angiograms, interventions, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager and Cardiologist. The role involves monitoring patients during procedures, recording hemodynamics, and assisting physicians with all angiographic and interventional cardiac procedures. The specialist is responsible for comprehensive patient care in accordance with hospital policies and must maintain a positive approach in a fast-paced environment.
