About this role

Inova Telestar is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echo) 2 to join their Radiology Services team. This part-time, PRN role involves administering sound patient care practices, performing diagnostic cardiac or vascular sonography, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms. The position requires adherence to hospital policies, proper technique for contrast injections, and active credential status through continual education.

Responsibilities

Administer sound patient care practices and complete ancillary tasks for efficient departmental operations
Demonstrate proper technique for IV contrast injection and ensure rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies
Troubleshoot equipment effectively and perform routine maintenance of echo vascular equipment for quality images

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonographyBasic Life Support from the American Heart AssociationAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); Registered with Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) CertificationCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered with Registered Cardiovascular Specialist (RCS) Certification for EchoARDMS with Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
