Care Extender

The Care Extender supports patient care and safety within the Emergency Department, Critical Care, and Step-Down Units by assisting the care team with vital signs, patient transport, and comfort measures. This role involves recognizing patient status changes, performing venipuncture and EKGs, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families. The position requires collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver compassionate, age-appropriate care and maintain strict quality and safety standards.
