The Care Logistics Center EMS Dispatcher is responsible for the prompt notification and activation of EMS agencies for emergent and non-emergent transportation to and from Hartford HealthCare facilities. The role facilitates continuous patient throughput by utilizing effective verbal communication, reviewing technology for patient placement, and making swift clinical decisions. The dispatcher serves as a liaison between EMS agencies and Bed and Case Managers, applying clinical knowledge to activate and track EMS resources.
