The Career Navigator serves as the first point of contact for job seekers at Michigan Works! Service Centers, providing exceptional customer service and assessing individual needs. The role involves orienting clients to available programs and resources, conducting soft handoffs to Employment Service Advisors, and assisting with job search documents and unemployment services. This grant-funded position requires strong communication skills and knowledge of community partners to support workforce training and employment outcomes.
