CDI Specialist

The CDI Specialist leverages clinical and coding expertise to conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records, focusing on documentation quality and identifying improvement opportunities. This role involves facilitating appropriate physician documentation to accurately reflect patient severity of illness, risk of mortality, and care complexity. The position also includes participating in documentation improvement initiatives and assisting with the onboarding and training of new team members.
