About this role
The Central Controller, Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) oversees the daily operation of autonomous control systems and the management of both autonomous and conventional haulage fleets at an open pit mining site. Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Central Control, the role ensures dispatch systems are operated safely and efficiently to meet shift production goals on a rotating 4x4 day/night schedule. The position is site-based in the Elk Valley and requires strong coordination with mine operations, planning, technical, and maintenance teams. It sits within a larger mine operations environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
