The Centralized Scheduler is responsible for scheduling surgeries, appointments, and procedures at the request of physicians and customers, as well as transcribing and scanning all orders into the electronic medical record. This role ensures the needs of the department, physicians, and customers are met while maintaining scheduling work queues and assisting with insurance verification and medical necessity checking.
