About this role
The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) provides athletic health care for high school student-athletes, working under the direction of a team physician and as part of a broader health care team. The role is assigned to a designated high school and includes coverage at athletic events and coordination of in-office appointments and referrals. The ATC supports athlete prevention, evaluation, immediate care, rehabilitation, documentation, and community education. Assignments may follow the school athletic season and include community-based responsibilities.
