Certified Athletic Trainer

The Certified Athletic Trainer provides athletic training and sports medicine services to student-athletes at an assigned Bay District Schools high school in coordination with Southern Orthopedic Specialists. This role involves the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and management of athletic injuries and illnesses, serving as a primary point of contact for student-athletes, parents, coaches, and healthcare professionals. The position requires independent professional judgment, effective communication, and close coordination with various stakeholders to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes.
